I am an accredited Seniors Real Estate Specialist for the Northern Virginia area. I work with those that are ready to downsize, those who are ready to enjoy the active lifestyle in one of Northern Virginia’s 55+ communities, and also with family members that are dealing with moving their loved ones into assisted living or nursing home facilities or dealing with the sell of a home after a loved one has passed away. It is important to me that I spend time to listen to my clients and to get know them. When selling a home is stressful, I can walk clients through the process and to their goals because I realize that sometimes it's about more than the move.
Previous experience as a law firm office manager has given me an understanding of both Trusts and Estates as well as Family law issues. It has also been a proving ground to recognize the importance of being a strong professional advocate for clients in contract negotiations. Nothing please me more than seeing a client successfully through the sale of their house to the purchase of their new home.
I grew up in Oklahoma and discovered Virginia when I was stationed here as a former military spouse. I fell in love with the trees (no I am not a "tree hugger") and have adopted Virginia as my home of choice. I have now lived in Northern Virginia for 23 years.
When I am not talking with clients about property, I love sharing wine with friends at local wineries, catching a Washington Capitals or Nats game, hiking with my Jack Russell “Cooper,” or traveling with my husband.
What drives me is my belief that you impact the world wherever you are, not by grand public accomplishments, but by elevating everyday interactions and moments into something meaningful.
